It is a FREE app that policyholders can install on their iPhone or Android phone. It runs silently in the background and automatically presents a block on Android and deterring “Keep your eyes on the road” notification on an iPhone while the car is in motion.

It is transparent to the driver when he/she is not driving, and when driving enables the driver to make an emergency call or turn off the device with the “Passenger Unlock” button.

The Good2Go Auto Insurance LifeSaver app allows the driver to receive hands-free calls, use maps/navigation, and listen to music while driving if the app is set-up completely before driving and used with the phone passcode locked. Or, you have the option of installing a text blocking device in your vehicle and provide Good2Go Auto Insurance with a copy of your receipt via fax, email, or postal service.

Text blocking devices are pieces of equipment that prevent the use of distracting cell phone functions while the vehicle is in motion. They block text messages, email, and Internet browsing, but may also include other distracting mobile applications. The devices allow for incoming and outgoing phone calls, as well as multiple hands-free options, depending on the device. They typically only affect the driver's cell phone, allowing other passengers to use their cell phones. Emergency features such as 911 are always available.

You must make sure that the device you are using is a text blocker and not a cell phone blocker, jammer, or scrambler.
